Masks

Wearing masks in public indoor settings is not required by public health. Wearing a mask is a personal choice. Masks are encouraged on public transit and BC Ferries, but not required.  Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring masks on their premises. It’s important that we respect the choices of people, businesses and one another.

IMPORTANT

Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, we STRONGLY advise that you CALL TO CANCEL prior to the 24 hours 

if you suspect any symptoms.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your BOOKED appointment due to possible Covid-19 contact or symptoms, we will require proof of your Covid Testing results within 7 days of your cancelled appointment. This policy is in place to help you avoid being charged for your missed appointment.

Our continued commitment to safe hygienic practices

Clients are asked to stay home when feeling ill with any corona virus symptoms. Do not book appointments until feeling better.

The symptoms of illnesses such as the corona virus, flu and common cold may include but are not limited to are: 

Most Common symptoms:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Tiredness

  • Loss of taste / smell

Less common symptoms:

  • Sore throat

  • Headache

  • Muscle aches / pains

  • Diarrhea

  • Rash or discoloration on skin / fingers / toes

  • Red, irritated eyes

  1. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. No more "waiting room" waiting. Please call us or  identify yourself if you are waiting outside so we can wave you in.

  2. Clients will be sent a pre-screening form to be completed before coming to their appointments.

  3. Clients will be required to immediately wash their hands upon entry and exiting after their appointment.

  4. To help us preserve our supply of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), please arrive with your own mask or you can purchase one for $2 + tax.

  5. Appointment times will be staggered to allow for cleaning in between appointments & physical distancing.

  6. Clients will be asked to arrive alone. Do not bring anyone other than yourself to your appointment.  This includes friends, spouses, family members and children.  They will be asked to wait outside.

  7. Please, keep talking to a minimum while receiving services especially around the face. This includes but not limited to waxing, facials, brow treatments, massage, etc.

  8. Clients will be asked to leave any extra personal belongings or shopping bags in their vehicle or at home.

 

What we are doing:

  1. In consideration of your safety, your treatment provider will be wearing the necessary PPE as guided by provincial medical authorities.

  2. We are Clean Touch Certified. 

  3. Social distancing enforced as we are only able to treat 1 customer at a time. 

  4. High Touch points are sanitized every hour if not more.

  5. Jan-Pro Commercial Cleaners come weekly to disinfect, clean and sanitize our space.

  6. We are hand washing several times during treatment and in between customers.

  7. No-Touch Retail display enforced.

  8. We have hired additional staff to assist with cleaning/sanitizing.

  10. Our team is taking the proper precautions to ensure that we are in good health and considered no risk before entering the clinic daily.
