Masks

Wearing masks in public indoor settings is not required by public health. Wearing a mask is a personal choice. Masks are encouraged on public transit and BC Ferries, but not required.  Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring masks on their premises. It’s important that we respect the choices of people, businesses and one another.

Commitment to safe hygienic practices

Clients are asked to stay home when feeling ill with any corona virus symptoms. Do not book appointments until feeling better.

The symptoms of illnesses such as the corona virus, flu and common cold may include but are not limited to are: 

Most Common symptoms:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Tiredness

  • Loss of taste / smell

Less common symptoms:

  • Sore throat

  • Headache

  • Muscle aches / pains

  • Diarrhea

  • Rash or discoloration on skin / fingers / toes

  • Red, irritated eyes

Serious symptoms:

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Shortness of breath

  • Loss of speech or mobility

  • Confusion

  • Chest pain

  1. Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. 

  2. Appointment times will be staggered to allow for cleaning in between appointments.

  3. Clients will be asked to arrive alone. Do not bring anyone other than yourself to your appointment.  This includes friends, spouses, family members, children and pets.  

  4. Please, keep talking to a minimum while receiving services especially around the face. This includes but not limited to waxing, facials, brow treatments, massage, etc.

  5. Clients will be asked to leave any extra personal belongings or shopping bags in their vehicle or at home.

 

What we are doing:

  1. In consideration of your safety, your treatment provider will be wearing the necessary PPE as guided by provincial health authorities.

  2. We are Clean Touch Certified. 

  3. High Touch points are sanitized regularly.

  4. Jan-Pro Commercial Cleaners come weekly to disinfect, clean and sanitize our space.

  5. We are hand washing several times during treatment and in between customers.

  6. Our team is taking the proper precautions to ensure that we are in good health and considered no risk to you.

  7. Safe and convenient on-line e-Gift certificates available.
